YOU TUBE 07-08-2009 For some reason, Erdington MP Sion Simon has attracted something of a following on You Tube for his spoof Webcameron video – in which he satirised the Tory leader by offering to let voters sleep with his wife. Simon’s defence of the now withdrawn vid on Sky News has also proved popular. Popular politics blog Guido Fawkes has been doing its best to push Simon’s profile by reviving the story, pointing out that these days, “this is the man in charge of Digital Britain”. The video has long been withdrawn, but we’d hate to deny Stirrer readers the chance of joining the other 33,000 viewers who’ve seen it on youtube – so here it is. Just for good measure, here’s Simon’s defence on the film which was, of course, masterminded by West Bromwich East MP Tom Watson.
That’s had 14,000 views – mystifyingly twice as many as the original Cameron film itself. DISCUSS THIS ON THE STIRRER FORUM |
