SUGAR GOES SOUR FOR APPRENTICE KATE

08-06-2009

Midlands Apprentice contestant Kate Walsh lost out in last night’s final to Yasmina Siadatan – thus missing out on the chance of a £100,000 job with Sir Alan Sugar.

The final came down to a clash of the confectioners, with both finalists asked to design and launch a new box of chocolates.

Kate, who grew up in Hednesford, came up with Choc D’Amour, an upmarket brand costing £13; but Yasmina’s £6 Electric Choc won the day.
