CRIME IS A HIT

11-06-2009

More than 63,000 people around the West Midlands have logged onto a police website giving information about local crime incidents since it was launched last year.

The cops say their My Neighbourhood site is designed to help people face the facts and feel safer, by giving more detailed information than ever before.

Visitors can see the latest crime levels for a variety of crime categories, broken down by postcode area. These include burglary, criminal damage, wounding, robbery, theft of and from vehicles, theft from the person and common assault.

In the past 12 months, 63,140 visitors have checked it out - and you can join them here
