AWM commissioned WS Atkins to carry out the study, which will how best to preserve Digbeth's booming and unique nightlife "offer" at a time when high profile residential developments such as Beorma Tower are being given the go ahead by city planners.

Atkins say they've consulted with developers, businesses and residents and they'll make a series of recommendations which will be passed on to Birmingham Council.

We'll have details on The Stirrer later, but if you want to see the detailed presentation, it's at 5pm tonight at South Birmingham College, Digbeth High Street, Birmingham.
