The Glee Club’s dates for March and April are out, and in among the usual fine selection of music and comedy, The Stirrer’s spotted one absolute “must see” – a show by former Cardigans vocalist Nina Persson.

Nina, who’ll be appearing on 28 April with her band A Camp, has one of the sweetest, saddest voices around – just check out I Can Buy You for starters

Although she attained rock chick status when Lovefool was a hit for The Cardigans – The Gran Turismo album was a humungous worldwide seller - she’s much happier these days mooching around between Natalie Merchant and Lucinda Williams territory.

And that’s just fine by us.

Should be a good 'un.
